In Iceland on Prometheus on my vehicle of choice

Tristan's CV

Firstly, let me tell you what I am NOT good at – don’t ask me to do a Best Man’s Speech and my spelling can sumtimes bee eratik but other than that I can turn my hand to just about everything….even my wife agrees!

I have worked as an art director, production designer, construction manager, have gone through the ranks of the art department, and have even have spent time working with an SFX company blowing things up…

I am well known for having a ‘can do’ attitude. Working in the art department is all about problem solving…… grasping the elements which constrain the design process, such as commercial drivers, challenging locations and changing scripts, and putting all the pieces of the puzzle together in such a way that the end result is stunning.  That is what I do.   My job experience, theatre training, knowledge of design and art, combined with my insight into popular culture have all come together to make me the Art Director I am.

I love what I do and this comes across in my approach to every challenge whether on location or in the studio.

When not away working I live with my family in a rambling old house in Derbyshire with dogs, horses, hens and a cat – and love tinkering with old cars and lawnmowers.
